• Design and develop Content Management System (CMS) based websites for a wide variety of businesses and organizations using PHP, MySQL, Joomla!, Flash, Swish, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe ImageReady, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Apache, CPanel, phpMyAdmin, and various other software and technologies.• Perform all phases of development and coordination including logo creation, graphic design, layout, navigation, animations, and code configuration, as well as design development for compatible print marketing branding such as letterheads, postcards, business cards and promotional materials.• Collaborate with content providers and oversee initial website operations to ensure website quality, performance, reliability and cross-browser compatibility• Ability to work under pressure, and to consistently deliver projects on-time with satisfactory results.

Website Developer for Non-Profit (6-month contract, November 2008 – May 2009)• This Search Engine Friendly Website was designed and developed in the Joomla! 1.5x Content Management System, which utilizes the LAMP environment – Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. Virtually every aspect of the new Website may be managed by non-technical staff.• Multiple user-access levels control the functionality of the Website and include social business networking tools such as a Private Messaging System and online electronic chat. An integrated forum for registered agents, clients, and board of directors allows for the open exchange of ideas from those spread across the entire state of Texas.• Many business functions of the TPS organization that were previously performed manually are now being automated with the launch of the new Website, such as a secured file sharing and electronic filing that also assists TPS with their desire to be a more green organization.• A Video Library functions to offer TPS customers valuable Safety training tools.• Electronic newsletter applications and RSS feeds allow TPS Website administrators to easily remain in contact with customers, clients and other registered members.• The Online Event Registration process that was integrated into the Website for the many meetings and functions hosted by the organization now automates this previously time consuming manual task.• Public and Private image galleries allow certain registered members to update specific galleries.• There is a Job Listing and Application process that allows the Web manager to easily post new career opportunities to the Website and also allow users to respond by completing an online application form and uploading their resume as an attachment to the job application.• Several applications including Dreamweaver, Photoshop and others were used extensively throughout the Website development process.

- Responsible for managing all Data Center operations including servers, desktops and mini-mainframe computers, and the purchasing and maintenance of all software, hardware, supplies and vendor contracts.- Project manager for Year 2000 solutions including the implementation of proprietary program changes to the courts’ case management software and the testing of Wang VS 8400 mini-mainframes, servers and desktop computers and all software for Y2K readiness.- Trained and managed a technical support staff serving over 300 end-users. Problem resolutions were required for printing, network, hardware and software issues, as well as Wang VS mainframe issues.- Designed, implemented and administered a Microsoft NT WAN using TCP/IP. This WAN, using MS SQL Server’s data replication tools, supports both the Orleans Parish Civil District and Criminal District Courts and allows the Jury Management Departments to select and process approximately 40,000 jurors annually.

- Managed department providing technical support and installations for approximately 1,000 computer systems/users.- Reduced support costs by 30% annually by establishing preventive maintenance and reallocation procedures.- Co-designed and managed a WAN for 54 locations increasing communications between corporate offices and branch stores.- Created and implemented backbone support structure for a LAN environment formalizing quick-response procedures for high profile business applications.- Developed acquisition policies for all hardware and software securing growth and guaranteeing system standards.- Substantially reduced employees’ down-time by providing advanced training for technicians.- Initiated and managed copyright-adherence policies for all software ensuring legal ownership.

- Eliminated 2.5 million dollars in vendor stock inaccuracies providing accurate reporting of vendor gross margins.- Discovered flaw in interdepartmental transfer system and established new standards to insure correct vendorization.- Reconciled Vendor Sales systems to revenue systems weekly enhancing valuable analytical skills of gross margins.

- Planned and maintained store stock dollars for 37 locations supporting both hard and soft lines.- Co-developed and helped initiate company’s first quick-response stock replenishment program for basic stocks.
