Informatics Research AnalystBlue Cross Blue Shield Of Tennessee Jan 2008 - Jan 2009Designed & developed and/or maintained SAS Enterprise Guide programs and projects in support of the Medical Informatics Management Department's HEDIS Analytics team's HEDIS reporting system and its annual HEDIS reporting of PPO performance for Commercial, Medicaid (TennCare) and Medicare Advantage products for accreditation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and CMS. Development of a rolling 13 month revision of several HEDIS measures to monitor progress monthly. I used MCSource to drill down into data for specific clinical conditions. Most of my data analysis using MCSource was to extract membership and enrollment data to be analized by SAS to validate clinical data extracted by SAS from the master claims and enrollment tables on DB2. I would run the data extracts on MCSource and output the results to text files which were then uploaded into SAS. I used MedMeasures similarly for drill downs into HEDIS data.
