⚫Help create-provide ICT ISP-OSP-SCS infrastructure planning, design and engineering solutions utilizing; ARC-GIS-ESRI, SNAP and Visio platform operational data bases. This is to help promote the Smart City IOT/IOE/ICT-Telecommunications and Broadband inniatives/industries to enhance the lives of Washington D.C. visitors, government employees, residents who visit, work and live within the District of Columbia. ⚫Helped create and write an Organizational-City Wide ICT ISP-OSP-SCS infrastructure technical specifications cabling SOP-OSS. The premise of this newly written SOP-OSS is to standardize on ICT infrastructure planning, designing and installation best practices. This is to help ensure 92+ government organizations within the District of Columbia are being provided with the most safe, cost-effective, innovative, future-minded, efficient, reliable value based ICT infrastructures, pathways, spaces and services as possible.⚫I have also help create/write a 12 course ICT, (Information and Communication Technology), educational curriculum for the District of Columbia SYEP (Summer Youth Employment Program). The premise of this new educational program is to encourage, promote, support and provide opportunities for people to pursue a career path within the ICT low voltage industry.

⚫This is an ongoing ICT ISP/OSP aerial-underground infrastructure and broadband construction project consisting of placing and splicing over 16 million linear feet of optical fiber cable to roughly 2,000+ proposed government/commercial locations on a MPLS, Sonnet, DWDM-100Gb+ and CWDM transport network through out the District of Columbia. Managed/supervised all ISP/OSP splicing, new construction, maintenance and restoration operational activities. Supervised all hot cuts. Obtain as built documentation for red lines and EWO's. ⚫Perform ICT ISP-OSP-SCS infrastructure and broadband design-build-installation QC-QA assessments currently utilizing; TIA, IEEE, ANSI, OSHA, NEC/NFPA-70, NESC, NEMA, UL/ASTM, DCRA/DCMR, IBC-ICC, BICSI industry cabling standards, (Applicable Best Practices), for all contractors and district government personnel. Provide project management with recommendations on ICT ISP-OSP-SCS infrastructures, construction, installation, preventative maintenance and design related issues for EWO’s (Engineering Work Orders). ⚫Helped design and implemented 7 separate Transport-Metro Rings, 45+ Backbone Distribution Rings, multiple (1,000's) of data and critical government agencies information transport system circuits associated with the District of Columbia Government's ICT ISP-OSP-SCS FTTX Network Architectures/Infrastructures in all 8-Wards of the city. Supervised, managed subcontractors, operational teams performing cable placement and splicing activities during various phases associated with multiple operational, capital and enterprise projects. Obtained all post testing information; OTDR, OLTS, as built documentation, link loss, system performance margins, power budgets, channeling/padding for circuits and metro rings during the migration of a data center outside of the District of Columbia without any OSI or packet/bit error rate related issues.

While working for OSP Consultants as a lead outside plant fiber splicing technician, I helped build the Looking Glass Networks OSP DC-Metro markets; transport, backbone and distribution rings. ⚫This consisted of splicing 40-864 SMF loose tube, (Mass Ribbon: 432-Microcore and 432 Corning SMF-28E OS-1/2 Rated), splice locations and the termination of 1,728 optical fibers at both data centers/central office locations. ⚫Developed as built documentation and design/infrastructure drawings for 5 separate redundant ring configurations of 61,100'​, 164,000'​, 173,000'​, 222,000'​ and 244,000'.

⚫Managed, supervised and trained 4-teams of fiber optic splicers for the Baltimore, Maryland and Northern Virginia markets. Managed and supervised as lead ISP/OSP splicing technician on multiple projects for; Verizon, Comcast, MCI-Worldcom, Sprint, Qwest, Espire, Adelphia Business Solutions, Eastcom Utilities and several other RBOC's, CLEC's and ILEC's within this geographical area. Managed and supervised the build out of Adelphia Business Solutions new greenfield projects within Baltimore and surrounding counties. ⚫Another project I worked on was the build out of a new fiber optic transport, backbone and FTTX (FTTB, FTTC, FTTH, FTTP) infrastructure for the city of Easton, Maryland. This project consisted of providing the city of Easton with a new CATV-Broadband, ICT, information transport, backbone and OSP fiber optic distribution system.

Performed multiple duties as an ICT ISP-OSP-SCS lead technician/team leader: copper terminating-splicing, fiber terminating-splicing, testing, fault locating, marking cables and ICT/ISP/OSP infrastructure construction/maintenance repair work to help support in the mission of Travis A.F.B./60th Air Mobility Wing.

Worked as a Journeyman Cable Splicer and Telecommunications Maintenance Specialist for all of Vandenberg U.S.A.F.B. approximately 500-600 square miles. I helped and provided ICT-Telecommunications support with the mission of the 30th Base Communications Group, Space Command/NASA and other organizations associated with Vandenberg U.S.A.F.B.
