John was responsible for many other technology evaluation and deployments, including Xcel's 1 MW / 7.2 MWh wind and markets integrated NaS (sodium sulfur) battery energy storage project in Minnesota and Xcel's collaboration with ABB in real time outage diagnoses and management in Denver. He has a MBA in finance from the University of Missouri and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University.
