Based in the South Island, as a Director of Coach Approach Rural I have a background of over 30 years AgriBusiness, Banking and Leadership experience in New Zealand and Australia. My wide experience and empathy with the Rural Sector, as well as having been an equity partner in a Southland dairy farm helps in understanding what is important for individuals, teams, families and businesses, including the challenges and opportunities around inter generational change and rural succession. I believe coaching is a core competency for effective leadership and I am well positioned to add value to Rural Business and people through providing independence, listening to understand, helping clients gain clarity around the outcomes they want for themselves, their teams, family and business and working with them to develop the roadmap strategies to get there. This clarity then leads to more effective strategy and structure including the investment in key people, communication/decision making process, business plans and business governanceI look to bring my experiences in working with Rural Families and businesses to the table underpinned by the Coaching process to make a difference.
