I accompanied my wife on a posting to Brazil for four years developing my skills as a Portuguese speaker. From May 2013-Sept 2014 I worked for the British Embassy implementing a cross network corporate credit card scheme. Other responsibilities included:-managing transition of existing bank provider to new provider-training staff across São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia on new expense reporting systems-processing BACs payments, weekly bank reconciliation, managing assistant finance manager.

-Led management of shared services centre for teams of up to 25 people across Switzerland and France-maintaining cash book, cash allocation and monthly recs in Oracle-reviewing customer database and updating credit limits-monthly bank reconciliation-calculation and reduction of bad debts from £700k to £225k in 12 months-implementing EDI for key customer-implementing new AR procedures for both companies-supporting AP team (bacs run payment, manual payments).
