I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Computer Science, Machine Intelligence and Algorithmic Foundations in 2024. Post graduation, I started a position as a Software Developer within the payments division at Discover Financial Services. The previous summer I completed a business technology internship at Discover and was asked to return to work full time. My team at Discover could not be better. We are responsible for over $1B in transactions a day and the more senior developers and management are keen to share their knowledge and delegate which makes for new challenges daily. IBM zSystems Hackathon First Place, Fidelity Accessibility Hackathon First Place and IBM zSystems Mentorship and started work as an Amazon AWS Open Source Contributor. Also while completing my degree, I worked part time and over the summers at my family's boutique businesses where I was responsible for all onsite and remote IT infrastructure, as well as developing and maintaining the company websites in Word Press and Shopify. Being a member of the family meant filling in whenever help was needed, so I wrote articles, create plug ins for client surveys, analyzed survey data and transported inventory for our reclaimed and restored furnishings business. I have work experience in the following languages/applications/environments: Java, SQL, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, R, SPARQL, WordPress, OneDrive, Shopify/PHP.I am keen to start utilizing my training and education in AWS and ML/AI. Community service and outdoor recreation has always been a part of my life. I volunteered at the Horizons Enrichment Camp for over seven years and for the American Cancer Society. I participated in recreational Volleyball and Running at Purdue and now I enjoy surfing and mountain biking.
