I supervise a team of 9 Systems Engineers and 1 SQL Database Administrator. In this role I've stepped away a little more from the technical work. I run team meetings, have 1 on 1 meetings with the team members, do performance reviews, approve time off and fill in when my manager is unavailable. We have recently switched from Citrix VDA to VMware Horizon Apps for the majority of our published applications so I gained a lot of knowledge in that transition.

Team Lead of a group of 11 Systems Engineers and 1 SQL Database Administrator. Our team responsibilities include Epic (Hyperspace, Hyperspace Web, Interconnect, Web Blob, System Pulse, EPS Printing, BCA, MyChart), OnBase, Vocera, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop/XenServer/XenMobile/Netscaler/Storefront, Infoblox DNS, VPSX Printing, MS Exchange, SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL and many other apps. We currently support Windows Server versions 2000 to 2019. As a team lead, I need to be knowledgeable in all of these technologies.Shared responsibility for Epic Hyperspace. This as well as many plugins and other accompanying apps are published on 1000+ provisioned Citrix Virtual Apps 7.15 servers running on Citrix Hypervisor 7.1 across 2 data centers.Shared responsibility of 100+ more provisioned and non-provisioned Citrix PS 4.5, XA 6.0, 6.5 and Virtual Apps 7.15, 1912 servers publishing hundreds of apps across 2 data centers.Shared responsibility of all remaining Citrix products.Hold regular team and individual status meetings to track team and individual progress.Delegate and manage team projects.Assist with team capital and operational budgeting.

Racked and wired servers, installed Server OS and applications.Virtualized a majority of servers in VMware and Citrix XenApp servers on XenServer.Depending on shifting personnel over the years, I had either sole or shared responsibility for our quickly growing Citrix environment. I started working with Citrix Winframe 1.6 up to the current XenApp/XenDesktop products. We also used NFuse/Web Interface for remote access.

I was one of three members of the Help Desk which grew to a team of 5 over the next 3 years. We handled 100-150 calls a day. This was before remote control so I became very adept at walking users through solutions based on their descriptions. I also taught several classes.

This was a college job so it was during Summer, Spring and Christmas breaks. I was originally hired as a temp to complete a data entry project and completed it in half the time. They decided to keep me longer term and I assisted with day to day problems, upgraded hardware and software and created presentations.
