Maintain the integrity and availability of the Aviation Logistics Tactical Information System network. The training network contains Alcatel-Lucent switches, Cisco routers, two domain controllers, DHCP server, four resource server (which contain the shared resources, ex. printer servers, share drives, Access /SQL grade book database), Responsible for user account creation and deletion within active directory.Successfully trained over 460 students which covered over 632 training days, resulting in a student grade point average of 91.40%. Assessed schoolhouse policy needs and assisted in the development of new schoolhouse policies. Accountable for the deployment of tactical local and wide area networks to any theater of operation (from garrison to shipboard to forward deployed joint-service environments). Other responsibilities include network administration, design, and installation, maintaining and repairing data communication links, fiber-optic, tactical fiber-optic cabling, and support myriad computer and network operating systems to include: UNIX, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 r2, VMware, Veeam backup and replication, Sybase, and TCP/IP. Responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of aircraft mission planning systems, aircraft maintenance systems and field deployable SATCOM equipment. Constantly analyzing and evaluating system output; design and manipulate database information to produce non-routine reports; work with application and software programs in order to access and manage data stored in the computer's memory or data base file(s).
