As a contractor working on a support team I learned how good intentions to be market competitive based on a single data point can create poor consumer outcomes. As a developer on an operations team I drove efficiency in processes reducing manual repetitive tasks for my team. I learned that empathy for the user is best obtained by being a user of the product myself. As a product manager working on checkout and in payments I learned the importance of deep data analysis as a basis for decision making in a product with global scope. I carry these learnings into my work as a product manager.
