Senior Vice President - High Value Home DivisionTower Hill Insurance Group 2017 - 2018I was recruited and hired to lead the development of a new High Value Home Division for Tower Hill, including P&L management of its existing portfolio of higher valued home business. An acknowledged risk inherent in such start-ups, however: a subsequent review by Executive leadership prompted several changes in the company, including the decision to discontinue build-out of the High Value Home Division. Relatively short lived as my experience was, nonetheless, my colleagues and I were able to advance the strategy, organization, and performance of the business, including: - Grew existing high value home portfolio +13%, including improved policyholder retention rates;- Ensured profitability through segmented rate increases, refined insurance to value practices, and enhanced underwriting effectiveness and cycle time, which in turn enhanced bind rate on new quotes; - Developed a strategic, operational, financial plan, along with sourcing new office and team; and, - Created a state-of-the-art, high value home product and value-added service delivery platform.

Responsibilities included product management, business development, and claims functions for automobile and commercial vehicle products. • Led Central Zone to four consecutive years of double digit growth. o Grew Region from $50MM to $90MM, bolstered by 10-point improvement in retention. • Contracted over 1500 Independent Agents in a three-year period. • Delivered a 3-year, cumulative, combined ratio for all businesses of 98. • Achieved a 20% improvement in new claims closure rate on double the new claim volume with no appreciable rise in paid claim severity.Executive Vice President One of three executives on IPO launch team.
