Experienced accountant skilled in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, business valuation, and litigation support.John Dobson retired from the Hamilton office of PwC in 2018 after a long career with PwC and its antecedent firms, for over 30 years as a partner and subsequently as Executive Director. John specialised in financial management and advisory services to a wide range of private, corporate and public sector clients with a particular interest in valuation, business sales and dispute resolution.He left PwC to focus on litigation support work especially shareholder and relationship property disputes.His involvement leading the team at PwC Business Sales has given him the ability to apply practical consideration to valuation issues based on the many actual transactions he has been involved in over the years.Over the last 25 years John has given expert evidence in a large number of cases in the Family Court and High Court and has appeared as expert in a number of arbitrations and mediation.
