Assisted the transportation Department since June by using Apprise and Roadnet to route and create order documents, while still in role of PM Warehouse Supervisor. As of October I stepped up as Transportation Manager (Interim) to Coordinate and supervise all functions relating to movement of outbound freight, maintaining prescribed service levels while keeping costs at a minimum, and training and supervising those in the Transportation Department to ensure meeting departmental and corporate objectives.

Supervises, instructs and trains employees on daily execution of night Warehouse logistics. Monitors and manages productivity levels, efficiency flow and direct corrective action as needed, and provides information/ feedback regarding personnel issues including hiring, training, evaluation, disciplining and following up on warehouse team concerns. Supervised Inland Cargo Transfer Company operations team of six personnel which was in charge of allocating personnel, truck and material handling equipment assets and ensuring company personnel conducted work orders in a safe and timely manner with minimal to zero loss to personnel and equipment. Providing excellent customer service by ensuring leadership was conducted onsite to expedite the movement of cargo and equipment. Managed the administrative data and tracked licensed drivers, dispatched vehicles, fuel usage, miles driven, personnel on hand, vehicles on hand, and vehicle maintenance. Tracked jobs successfully completed in weekly and monthly rollups, used data analysis to foresee trends in vehicle and fuel usage as well as safety concerns. Provided leadership and mentorship to two assistant managers and four movement specialist through developmental monthly counseling. Provided motivation to team through affective communication, promotions, awards and recognition. Conducted reprimands, and counseling for adverse actions, negative work practices, and safety violations

Supervised the shipping office at the Bagram Ammo Supply point. Tracked all inbound and outbound ammunitions and reorganized the shipping procedures which improved the company’s ability to monitor the movement of $140 million in ammunition assets. Safeguarded and diligently monitored all movements of High Value and sensitive SECRET cargo. Demonstrated excellent customer service and quality control through open and constant communication with customers both local and throughout Afghanistan. Accounted for and managed over 1,000 cargo containers onsite. Conducted container inventories, and updated inbound, outbound, and onsite monthly reports. Supervised and mentored the company escorts, providing the personnel with the proper knowledge, safety and guidance to escort local nationals off and onto the Military Installation. Provided strong leadership, and guidance to an assistant manager in charge of properly filling out and labeling Hazardous documents to the ammunition pallets. Provided a positive team building environment with other supervisors within the organization.

Supervised and provided leadership to five personnel in the Company Training Room. Managed the administrative procedures, prerequisites, physical fitness testing and other requirements needed, in order to ensure company personnel could attend and successfully complete mandatory organization training, advanced leadership developmental training and job specific certification training to allow the organization to properly fill vacant or needed slots with the proper personnel, as well as ensure that personnel could advance within their specific job careers. Reliable leadership and attention to detail in conducting company inspections on over a thousand 20 foot shipping containers for serviceability while providing sustainment operations for multiple military companies. Implemented strict standards, risk management and ensured personnel were trained on Hazardous Materials and briefed them on what could be shipped during deployments which resulted in fast and accurate inspections, zero safety concerns, and expedited the administrative procedures to help facilitated a more streamlined organizational deployment and redeployment process. Incorporated vast knowledge and experience to oversee and inspect vehicle configurations and load plans, container load plans, and palatalized cargo to maximize space, ensure items were stowed and secured properly. Facilitated the loading of over 300 pieces of equipment without incident while serving as rail load Supervisor. Responsible for working with the Air Force personnel and mitigating any risk by guaranteeing cargo was loaded onto aircraft and strapped, netted and chained securely. All pieces of cargo precisely labelled with shipping labels and hazardous material declarations.

Supervised the transportation and movement of vehicles, equipment and personnel at the executive level and reported directly to the President or Senior Director. Managed personnel and vehicle allocation through two lower Executive branches, each with two companies of assets and personnel. Examined, and managed load plans, personnel, vehicle and equipment manifest. Tracked 450 logistical line haul convoys throughout all of Afghanistan using advanced movement tracking systems, while coordinating and monitoring 22 emergency resupply air deliveries which was crucial to sustain thousands of personnel with food, water, fuel, mail and munitions. Conducted weekly roll up reports on all tasks completed, ongoing and forecast-ed, and reported to the Senior Director, informing them of risks, safety concerns, personnel, truck or air assets on hand as well as any maintenance issues. Reinforced the Support Operations at Ft Carson which provided sustainability to the entire Base by establishing a great report with customers, higher executives, supervisors, managers and other employees. Enhanced the supply chain by monitoring and tracking deploying and re deploying personnel and equipment in order to brief executives and other company supervisors on current in transit status and location. Recognized by the Post Commanding General for orchestrating and initiating the planning, coordination and execution of moving an $11.3M Helicopter utilizing only internal company personnel and equipment, which saved the Army over $120,000 in contracting cost. Proficient in using various movement tracking systems to maintain 100% in-transit visibility and accountability of equipment and personnel during line haul, rail, air and seaward movements.

Strengthened and mentored a movement control team of several personnel in the preparation of company Ground, Sea and Air, mobility along with vehicle and cargo load plans. Coordinated and conducted the inspection and services on every company vehicle, fire arm, and piece of equipment which resulted in the company accomplishing a 100% readiness status within a few months. Demonstrated strong leadership and was placed responsible for other departments within the company such as the Chemical Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Supervisor for the company to revamp and mediate risk by having all chemical testing equipment inspected, re serviced and certified as safe and within regulations and standards.
