Over the past thirty years, John Roll has held a variety of leadership positions in advertising, broadcast journalism and corporate communications.In his first venture in advertising, John became Supervisor of Post Production Services at Tulchin Studios in New York; overseeing national accounts such as Estee Lauder and Proctor and Gamble. A ten-year stint in broadcast journalism followed; first as a photographer and reporter, then as assignment editor and special projects producer. In 1988, John and his wife, Paula, founded Roll Communications, L.L.C. and began providing creative services and media buying for local and regional advertisers. Their clients include Asset Recovery Group, Astrea Clothing Company, Chamard Vineyards, Ryan Oil Company, Town and Country Auto Sales, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the Yale University School of Medicine. John joined Tiffany & Co. in 1994 and led the corporate communications department through a period of rapid growth and international expansion. He developed the company’s new-hire orientation program, product training curriculum and intranet site. John returned to the broadcast industry in 2004 as Chief Editor for WTNH/WCTX in New Haven, CT and guided his news team into the digital age. More recently, he supervised the video production activities at Subway World Headquarters, was a Photojournalist with Fox61 News in Hartford, CT. and also was an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of New Haven, teaching video field production and editing in the Department of Communication, Film and Media Studies. From 2014-2017, John worked for ReminderMedia as Cinematographer/Editor for the online version of American Lifestyle Magazine.He is currently videographer/editor/producer for "Carolina Home Today" on WMBF in Myrtle Beach, SC. and continues to pursue his passion as a singer/songwriter and music video director.
