Local Treasure International (LTI) is the premier builder of luxury vacation homes along the Southwest Pacific Coast of Nicaragua and strives to bring American standards of quality to Nicaragua. LTI is currently working on the development and construction of Costa Paraíso Resort.15 years ago, I purchased a small 30-acre, eco-friendly boutique hotel property in Nicaragua. This project started as a rock piece of oceanfront jungle and has been carefully carved out into a slice of paradise. Since then, I have been working on this development where I have supervised all engineering and construction work, including water and electrical layouts, road, and lot boundaries. At times I have communicated with and managed in excess of 100 Spanish-speaking employees. My other responsibilities include overseeing the hospitality, sales, and reservations aspects of the property, as well as managing a charter fishing and surfing operation recently added to compliment the resort.

GroundWork Renewables, Inc. partners with clients across the U.S. to make renewable energy projects come to life. GroundWork specializes in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of solar monitoring stations for utility-scale solar power plant developers, EPCs and owner/operators. These observational solar meteorological stations can greatly improve the bankability of a project in the development cycle, and meet ISO and other regulatory requirements in the operating plant for acceptance testing, performance evaluation and forecasting. GroundWork is a value-added reseller for Campbell Scientific, EKO, Hukseflux, Irradiance, Kipp & Zonen and Lufft. Through a recent partnership with Clean Power Research, Groundwork Renewables and Clean Power Research offer a bankable resource assessment, including field meteorological and long-term satellite-based irradiance data, in one convenient package.For the past ten years, I have worked for Groundwork Renewables and have been instrumental in building it from a startup to a major player in the solar/energy sector. Although I wore many hats as the company grew, I finished out my leadership tenure as the Director of Field Sales, where I managed an international fleet of field technicians and oversaw the deployment of hundreds of solar monitoring stations. In this role, I managed these large-scale commercial projects from inception to completion, focusing on procurement, installation, maintenance, data retrieval, and quality control analysis.As I am intensely client focused, I also developed close working relationship with major industry players. I built a reputation for Groundwork Renewables to respond to issues and inquiries quickly and provide turnkey solutions to field engineering needs.

In my role as a Marketing Consultant, I acted as a small business consultant working with station owners and operators throughout Northern California to maximize profits through inventory management and marketing. My primary responsibilities were to monitor and control retail sales, create and submit real estate proposals for new site development, and manage the throughput of 21 million gallons of fuel yearly. I also served as a trusted advisor to franchisees on pricing, marketing, business strategies, and personnel management.
