The Association of Independent Festivals was founded by five festivals in 2008 and now brings together over 140 of the leading events in the UK. Black Deer, Boomtown, Boardmasters, Deershed, End Of The Road, Eisteddfod Genedlaethol, Field Maneuvers, Kendal Calling, Notting Hill Carnival, Shambala, Deer Shed, Brecon Jazz and so many more. AIF festivals share best practice, listen and learn from each other, and through AIF co-ordinate resources, training, campaigns, access to key suppliers and regular dialogue with UK Government, Welsh Government and Scottish Government along with funders and other key stakeholders.

Supporting Sound Diplomacy with their work for Cardiff Council on building a Music City ambition for the Welsh capital.

Established the award winning multi-venue new music festival, showcasing the best new music in and out of Wales.Developed the festival from idea to inception, whilst building and leading a company and team overseeing all aspects of curation, production, operations, partnerships and marketing through the festival’s growth.- Sŵn was the first event in the UK to secure multi-year funding from PRS Foundation. PRSF continue to support the event in recognition of its excellence in promoting new UK music.- Secured funding from Welsh Government Major Events Unit, acknowledging Sŵn as a Signature Event for Wales.- Received a prestigious Paul Hamlyn Foundation Breakthrough Fund for my work on Sŵn.- Developed the company further into a live music concert promoter and events producer, before completing an exit strategy sale in Spring 2018.

CEO of the Development Agency for the Music Industry in Wales. Included representing Wales toUK sector trade bodies and agencies, representing the sector to Welsh Government, strategy and lobbying on behalf of sector development. Was a key partner in Cerdd Cymru Board that delivered the £3M International World Music Trade Expo WOMEX13 into Wales in 2013.
