RESPONSIBILITIES- Identify new business opportunities. - Lead and manage the research, development, innovation, and entrepreneurship process, and define the research, development, innovation, entrepreneurship and business transformation strategy with a focus on energy transformation, circular economy, digital transformation and profitability. - Promote the design, updating, implementation and dissemination of the Innovation Management model, coordinate competitive intelligence activities, technological surveillance, and prospective analysis for the development of new businesses.- Identify opportunities for new businesses, lead their incubation and development and the transition plan for their implementation in areas such as Hydrogen, sustainable mobility, smart city services, renewable energies among others. - Lead the development of open innovation and entrepreneurship programs, such as the business accelerator and corporate venture funds.- Negotiate and manage the protection of intellectual property derived from the process of research, development, innovation and entrepreneurship.ACHIEVEMENTS- Structure and launch the second Private Capital Fund for innovation with 40 million USD - Expand from 30 to 32 million USD the first Private Equity Fund.- Sign a cooperation agreement for contributions with RutaN with resources of 3 million USD and sign a cooperation agreement with Innpulsa.- Achieve recognition of EPM as a unit of R&D&i in Minciencias and get more than 8 million USD tax benefits in STI projects.- Redesign the Innovation portfolio with a focus on value generation.- Develop and deliver projects in energy transformation, renewable energies, transactive energy and solar communities with blockchain, smart cities and sustainable mobility, roadmaps for Hydrogen and Urban Solid Waste, energy efficiency, storage, data analytics for electricity generators, digital twins, among others.- Redesign the innovation management process and model in EPM.
