Responsible for developing Reliability Center Maintenance approaches to optimize the maintenance process for all substation and distribution field equipment. Specific areas of responsibilities include protective relaying, power transformers, substation equipment, cable & outside plant equipment, power quality, forestry, and reliability center maintenance. This is the first time that all maintenance was reviewed on a totally prioritized basis with a major effort to eliminate lower valued work. The annual maintenance savings of $12,500,000 in substations and $8,000,000 in distribution systems resulted from lower valued work being eliminated. All high and medium valued work was completed for the first time in many years.
