Managed a District of 20 sales reps over 7 Mid-Atlantic states. In an 18 month period, we took a district that was dead last in the Region to first place in sales, and reduced turnover from 75% to 10%. Applied OD principles to an old-line organization, broke all the corporate "rules" by hiring women in sales, involving employees in decision making, and having fun at work, and then broke all the sales records. The company couldn't tolerate change, didn't like my ideas. and I decided to move to consulting where I could make a difference.

Directed Counter-Intelligence activities for US Army.

Involved in all issues affecting student life, principally the male student body. Initiated and managed the Extended Residence Program which placed students in work/study environments in numerous major cities around the world. Participated in student recruiting and capital fundraising.

Managed a traveling cast of 150 performers and crew in the Up with People program, traveling to 15 states and more than 50 cities, and holding over 100 performances in audiences of up to 20,000. Responsible for all planning, logistics and personnel issues, including managing a fleet of buses and trucks to transport the cast and staging equipment. Was one of the Founding Cast Members of this international program, as stage performer, speaker, emcee, plus conducted fundraising and public relations activities, June 1965 - July 1966.
