Moving off a legacy system with it’s roots in Microsoft Commerce Server, into a modern highly scalable, fault tolerant collection of micro services written in Java, and running on both a private open stack based cloud as well as external clouds such as AWS and GCP.

Authorize.Net a registered trademark of CyberSource, a Visa company, is an eCommerce payment gateway with 350,000+ merchants and $75+ billion in annual transacting volume. Managed a team of 6 engineers to implement the rest of world expansion program. Architected a multi-year plan to facilitate boarding merchants in non-US markets, and to allow merchants to transact in multiple currencies under the same account. Implemented a consolidated transaction settlement processing system between the Authorize.Net and CyberSource platforms using EJB 3.0 on JBoss 5.1 that handles millions of transactions per day. Implemented connections to new payment processors. Enhanced struts based batch management system user interface. Enhanced ASP.NET based merchant boarding web application. Implemented customer service application in ASP.NET MVC3. Refactored automated recurring billing system written in c# implemented as a windows service. Led the improvement of code coverage metrics through refactoring and unit testing existing code, and using test driven development on all new code. Implemented continuous integration, and an automated package and deployment process.

Led a team of 8 software engineers to develop an enterprise web application to manage every part or product that the company imports or exports from overseas, implemented in ASP.NET MVC, JQuery, NHibernate and Oracle. Developed enterprise wide security tools using c#. Developed a decision management tool for the 787 project. Implemented software components and participated in the hardware design for the Electronic Flight Bag, an informational cockpit display using embedded technologies.
