Developed and enacted new Physical Education/Health curriculum. Communicate weekly with specialists and the Personalized Learning Committee to ensure specialist team and personal growth for both in-school and Online Learning Academy programs. Apply and strengthen students’ physical capabilities, knowledge of activities, personalized learning, body mechanics, sportsmanship, and social skills. Encourage teamwork and group problem solving skills through team building activities. Assess student fitness levels, progress, and modify physical activities based on students’ capabilities in both individual and small group settings. Conduct assessments to determine Adaptive Physical Education eligibility. Report on Adaptive Physical Education assessment results, goals and objectives, and meet with parents and team to discuss detailed student educational plans. Created and maintained progress reports for each student quarterly.
