Olsson is a nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering and design firm that has been creating public and private projects throughout the United States since 1956. We have over 950 employees in 28 offices that span seven states. As a Learning and Development Specialist, I work in a team of three to identify training needs within the organization and partner with subject matter experts to design and facilitate training. Some of my projects include: - Partnering with the Project Management Support team to develop training that helps participants develop in skills aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) - Developing a series called the Productivity Blueprint that begins with employees assessing themselves on a series of productivity related competencies such as; goal setting, prioritization, organization and task management, delegation, and meeting management. Based upon the assessment results, participants will choose from a series of eLearning sessions that correspond to developmental needs.
