About John Brady

I am currently the Director of Communications at the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission. I've written speeches and content for the executive team at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. I've been the Director of Communications and Public Involvement for the Portland Bureau of Transportation, one of the country's most forward-thinking transportation agencies. I have written speeches, talking points and opinion pieces for elected officials, corporate executives and non-profit leaders. I’ve well over a decade’s worth of government and public policy experience. I have conducted original political science research and presented it nationally and internationally. I've written for print and radio. I have taught politics to undergrads and graduate students. That’s a career with many facets. They are linked by three fundamental elements: 1) a knack for engaging and informing audiences ranging from students to shareholders, public radio listeners to political activists, chief executive officers to community leaders; 2) a dedication to communicating difficult ideas in clear and compelling language; and 3) a passion for politics and the public good.
