 Responsible for the support and monitoring of the Database Environment, consisting of 185 Oracle databases using Oracle versions 10g, 11g and 12c.  Responsible for the support of the Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g and 12c monitoring environment. Responsible for the support of various Application teams. Support includes database creation, application upgrades, testing support, database restores/ refreshes and migration to production. Responsible for the resolution of user/application requests generated via the ticket request system. Responsible for the conversion of multiple databases from SQL Server to Oracle Responsible for creation and support of the “Legacy to SAP” migration environment which consisted of 37 test databases and 7 production databases. Tasks included installing Oracle 11.2.0.3 and the Enterprise Manager 11.1 agent, performing multiple backups/restores/imports and the execution of SQL code across the 44 databases as requested by the Project Manager. Additional tasks included setting up the backup and monitoring environments for all databases.  Responsible for the migration of multiple databases from the current hosted facility back into the UIL database environment

 Responsible for the support and monitoring of the Database Environment, consisting of 225 Oracle databases using Oracle versions 9i, 10g and 11g. Responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of the DBA Toolkit Application. Maintenance included, data verification, additional monitoring, report enhancements and the incorporation of additional global database environments into the existing system Responsible for the support of various Application teams.

 Responsible for the support and monitoring of the Database Environment, consisting of 130 Oracle databases using Oracle versions 10g and 11g.  Responsible for the support of various Application teams. Support includes database creation, application upgrades, testing support, database restores/ refreshes and migration to production. Responsible for the resolution of user/application requests generated via the ticket request system.  Responsible for SQL Server to Oracle database conversion

 Responsible for the upgrade and maintenance of the DBA Toolkit Application. Upgrade included additional monitoring, new reports and the incorporation of additional global database environments into the existing system

 Responsible for the administration of 43 databases (17 Production and 26 Development) using Oracle 8i, 9i and 10g. Supported high volume Siebel call center database environment. Supported On-line Postage database environment consisting of three (3) two (2) node RAC clusters and standby databases. Supported Remedy Enterprise problem ticket database environment. Responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, maintenance and administration of the Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g monitoring environment which is comprised of 200+ databases.  Responsible for the assigning and validating of daily tasks to be performed by off-shore employees/contractors. Designed, coded and implemented a DBA Toolkit used by the on-shore and off-shore members of the Database Services staff to obtain up-to-date information regarding their databases. Toolkit information is gathered from multiple sources and presented via the web using Microsoft FrontPage and native HTML. The DBA toolkit consisted of the following:--- Application Inventory System: used to relate databases to DBA’s and Users.--- Database Auditing System: used for enforcing the database standards required by the Database Services group.--- Database Monitoring system: used for validating each database as to its status and accessibility by the end user.--- Database Job Tracking System: used to track and monitor the status of all database utility jobs (backups, exports, purges, etc) running against the databases and providing historical tracking for those jobs.--- Automatic Documentation System: used to interface with multiple sources to gather additional information providing daily automated documentation for each database. Designed and maintained the Database Services Team website using Microsoft SharePoint.  Represented Pitney Bowes on Oracle’s Enterprise Manager Customer Advisory Board to submit input for upcoming releases of the product.
