I am one of the founding partners of Scheef & Stone, LLP, which has grown to 61 attorneys in three offices. We currently have offices in Dallas, Frisco, and Marshall, Texas. Scheef & Stone, LLP is a full-service business law firm primarily comprised of many attorneys who used to practice with the larger downtown Dallas law firms. Personally, I paid my own way through college and law school working as a carpenter and hanging sheetrock. This experience gave me an understanding of the importance education and what it means to have to work hard physically. I also worked as a waiter and bartender which taught me how to serve customers. After law school, I learned to practice law from many very good lawyers. Twenty-three years ago, I (along with three good friends) took advantage of the opportunity to start our own law firm which has since experience exponential growth.
