My responsibilities include building the Creative Art Works (CAW) brand by creating and maintaining print and web publications, growing CAW’s presence on social media, and developing internal and external communication strategies. I also work behind the scenes to manage and increase our database of constituents and to organize our extensive and rapidly growing photo and video library.

CUNY Start is an intensive remediation program for students who have been accepted to CUNY but have failed to pass two or more of the entrance exams required to be placed in introductory level classes. Think of it as boot camp for incoming first-year students. The goal of the program is to prepare students to retake the entrance exams and to provide them with the skills needed to be successful in college.

Community Markets manages twenty-one farmers markets in the Greater New York City area, including locations in Westchester and Rockland county, Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn. I research, write and edit e-mail blasts and twitter updates, bios of vendors, and articles about farmers markets, sustainable farming, food production and healthy eating. I maintain and update events calanders in local newspapers and on the web.
