Citrix Architect for St Joseph Health (Contract 2011 – March 2016)• Designed and deployed XenApp and XenDesktop environment for 5000+ concurrent user clinical environment with tap and go (SSO). Upgraded existing XenApp 4.5 to XenApp 5, then to XenApp 6.5 and eventually to XenDesktop 7.6. During these enterprise projects I also consolidated St Joseph’s virtual Citrix environment from regional datacenters to a private cloud. • Using Citrix and Microsoft Terminal Services (Server Based Computing), created a Desktop as a Service Cloud offering before cloud was known as “cloud” for many large enterprise customers.• Designed hosted Application Service through Terminal Services solution including global implementation standards for server systems and architecture, and future technology direction.• Worked closely with outsourced development and partners to create a first-of-kind provisioning system for the application service.
