Responsibilities and duties include:- Providing day to day technology oversight on several projects including as needed hands on design, deployment, support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. - Systems architecture covering all aspects of system design, specification, and deployment for solutions with budgets ranging from $50,000 to $19,000,000.- Managing company infrastructure for a technology consulting services organization that has grown from 3 to 100+ personnel over 13 years.- Enterprise Application Troubleshooting and resolution of problems for clients that have been left unresolved by several previous consulting organizations.- Application Architecture covering application designs, component specifications, deployment models, application security, and application documentation engineering, security, and application support teams.- Technology Research and Development covering company future technology platform direction and core competencies to remain competitive, improvements to development operations, automated deployment of solutions for production-ready usage, monitoring and instrumentation of complex solutions.- Sales support involving Proofs of Concepts for solutions based on requirements, authoring of technical solution approaches, solution component selections and recommendations based on requirements, along with hardware, software, and labor estimates and pricing based on RFP content.- Candidate hiring for roles in application and systems architecture, systems administration, database administration, Java and .NET software development, along with specialty roles in Documentum, Alfresco, and SharePoint.- System administration covering the rapid deployment on VMware Virtual Infrastructure (VI) of Armedia-hosted client project development sandboxes.
