I understand that in order to improve, we as an industry have to quantify all aspects of the life cycle of a project from inception to handover, setting targets to achieve, and look at methods to improve these targets, through efficiency, and current thinking.At present the biggest challenge to face the construction industry is the drive to reduce carbon, and with the introduction next year of The Green Deal, the social housing sector will be expected to lead this challenge.
