At Basement Systems my primary focus is on front end development. That includes development of markup (HTML), presentation (CSS), behavior (JavaScript), and implementation in the company's proprietary CMS.I manage a team of developers, overseeing daily tasks for site maintenance and web development projects for over four-hundred domains. I assess and apply front end change requests in collaboration with account managers and project managers.- Developed multiple applications using jQuery and NodeJS that aid in development of templates for custom CMS.- Researched and implemented strategies to make sure that templates and content are accessible via assistive technologies. - Implemented updates and tools to improve site performance. Work with Back End Developers on strategies and systems to help improve site performance.- Design and execute A/B test strategies to maximize conversion rates and improve lead generation. Manage departmental A/B testing calendar for all projects.- Collaborated with Design team and Art Director to begin a roll out of responsive templates to over two-hundred sites.
