In my role as a Mechanical Engineer at Nasser Saeed AL-Hajri Co. (Renamed to Gulf Asia Contracting WLL) from Dec 2018 to Dec 2022, I was responsible for preparing method statements and job hazard analysis for various projects and ensuring their approval by the client. I reviewed design drawings, calculations, standards, and specifications and was accountable for ordering materials for all mechanical systems and equipment, along with other consumables for site activities. I prepared material approval requisitions and coordinated with the procurement department, ensuring that materials were ready at the site as per schedule and dynamic site requirements. I also prepared shop drawings and isometric drawings for all MEP services, fabrications, and equipment.As a Mechanical Engineer, I was accountable for the installation of all mechanical systems and equipment and prepared daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. I was responsible for maintaining department logs, status, documents, drawings, permits, certificates, and testing and commissioning of all the mechanical systems and equipment. I prepared as-builts, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover documents, along with directing the maintenance of mechanical services and equipment and coordinating with suppliers or manufacturers.One of the projects I was involved in was the Tamim Air Base (C-108-01- Land Force Area, B-117-01-Back-Up Power Plant) for the Qatar Armed Forces.
