My passion is helping companies grow and flourish. I am an experienced and driven leader that achieves results. My objective is to help organizations execute strategic and operational plans, improve financial management and enhance their sales organization performance.I have a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration. I commenced my career at PwC and am a CPA. Thereafter, I spent a decade in the retail industry at Price Club/Costco. I developed the corporate internal audit function, and then served as the CFO of a business development subsidiary that operated 18 retail and manufacturing businesses. I had start-up and operational responsibilities for several divisions. Afterward, I directed the development of warehouses and corporate expansion into Mexico. Then I assisted with partnerships, licensing agreements, distributor networks, real estate development, and marketing strategies in Asia Pacific, Europe & Latin America.I have provided financial and operational consulting services to both domestic and international businesses. I have assisted with financial audits, forecasting, valuation, business models, start-ups, turnarounds, and the preparations for an IPO. I have experience on both the buy and sell side of M&A transactions and post-merger integration. In addition, I have functioned as the CEO, CFO and CCO for various public and private companies in a variety of business verticals. In the role of CCO, I created global compliance programs in the software (Peregrine Systems), biotech (Life Technologies) and technology (Qualcomm) sectors. I oversaw the global anti-corruption & trade compliance programs, chaired the Ethics and Compliance Committee that managed internal investigations, and worked with the DOJ, SEC, FDA, and foreign regulatory agencies.I recently served as the CEO of RxSafe in the pharmacy automation industry. My focus was to strengthen the corporate infrastructure and position the company for sale. I engaged with investment bankers and many potential suitors. I am currently the CFO at a manufacturing business. My role is to negotiate a sale of the business operations. I also manage a consulting firm, Caliber Advisory Services, that offers an array of operational, financial and compliance services. I served as a member of a Board of Directors and as the chair of an Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. I also served as the Chair of the Board of the Corporate Directors Forum and am a guest lecturer at graduate schools and business conferences.
