I give legal advice to help companies grow. I have experience assisting with all stages of a company's life-cycle from corporate formation, through capital raises to an M&A exit. In particular, I have a growing UCC practice and enjoy assisting companies with commercial sales, equipment leasing, and secured borrowing. I also provide counsel to companies with respect to general procurement and master vendor agreements.I have represented companies from industries as diverse as food production, heavy manufacturing, and telecommunications. In addition, I focus a significant portion of my practice assisting energy companies on the development, purchase, and sale of wind, solar, small-hydro, or bio-fuels projects.I am interested in the context behind transactions and the culture of the relevant stakeholders. To fill my genuine curiosity about my clients' businesses, I often make field trips to visit clients at their facilities. I also get excited when I can purchase and use consumer products made by my clients.I am also interested in advancing my profession. To this end, I am active in the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), the National Filipino Lawyers Association (NFLA), the Filipino Lawyers of Washington (FLOW), the Asian Bar Association of Washington (ABAW) and the Asian Bar Association of Washington Student Scholarship Foundation (ABAWSSF). I have held leadership positions with many of these associations and have worked on various initiatives including those related to diversity, scholarship, mentorship, and leadership training.I have been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and was listed on the Inaugural Hot List (Western Region) (recognizing 100 early- to mid-career minority attorneys under the age of 40) by Lawyers of Color.
