1.Lead the development work on components, tooling, manufacturing and assembly process of our products, including manufacturing fixture concept and DFM review.2.Drive suppliers to design and fabricate new tooling and manufacturing fixture, develop and improve tooling/components quality, yield, cost and reliability.3.Drive continuous improvement on injection molding process by mentoring and training scientific molding process and statistic tools at supplier.4.Working closely with suppliers on multiple customized process: Extrusion, CNC, Polishing, Punching, Laser etching, Sandblasting, Anodizing, Automation, etc.5.Working with suppliers to drive manufacturing yield improvement through process flow review, part quality analysis, defect pareto, SPC data, etc.6.Acts as technical lead to provide support on tooling, products, fixture, manufacturing and assembly process improvement. Monitor supplier process capability through continues engagement and engineering studies.7.Drive failure analysis, figure out root cause and set up corrective action implementation plan with vendors. Drive technical issue resolution throughout the part life cycle.

1.At the tool begin stage: Work closely with Design Engineering on mechanical part feature manufacturability. Collaborate with Product Design to improve manufacturing processes. 2.Provide tool spec list for RFQ and should cost analysis for cost estimation; 3.Mold flow analysis and DFM review with supplier to avoid any risk in tool manufacturing and molding process;4.Tool design review and tool fabrication follow-up to make sure tool schedule on time.5.At the tool develop stage: Work on-site with manufacture and suppliers, check and identify parts feature, cosmetic and dimension issues, optimize molding parameter to make sure molding process stable and efficiency by scientific molding process conducting and training, 6.Drive root cause analysis and corrective solutions. Follow-up action plan and make sure tool develop on schedule; 7.Support printer each build SIB,PTB,FST and SOP, work with DE to analysis and identify part issues and take corrective actions with vendors; 8.EC changes DFM review and manage EC changes cost and schedule.9.At the tool approval stage:Lead supplier to conduct CPK run and PPAP documents for tool approval, focus on molding process stability and capability and on time delivery high quality products.10.Work with development team on material selection, prototype, manufacturing process and fixture improvement.
