1. Formulate and develop corporate sourcing strategy based on global operation views. Lead global sourcing organizations in China. Audit, Qualify and develop local suppliers into global supplier base. Leveraging and consolidating supplier base and logistics.2. Manage China supply chain. Responsible for overall material flow management from China to US including material procurement, shipping consolidation, warehousing, inventory and etc.Achievements: Responsible for 12 million USD spending to 30 suppliers, with nearly 10 varying commodities. Overall PPM less than 700, and delivery on-time more than 95%. Synchronized 5 USA plants purchasing activities in China area. Logistics cost lowered to 10 percent via consolidated shipment. Inventory from 4-5 months reduced to 1-2 month. Implemented high mixture and low volume projects for 800 parts during 16 years. Two key projects with 70 PPM since mass production with total yearly spending over 2-3 million USD. Atomic EFI project won SEMA Show New Product Winner, 2012 off road/4 wheel drive best New Product. Sniper wireharness project localization with 20% cost saving & 400k USD per year. Created a secure, reliable and solid supply chain globally and managed all the supply chain chaos and challenges including pandemic travel bans, factory closures, power outages, chip shortages, skyrocketing raw materials cost, shipping crisis, geopolitical risks & uncertainties, etc.
