Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programming for elementary, middle, and upper school students, faculty, and alums. Create and implement new DEI activities and professional development for the more comprehensive school's strategic plan. Advise individual departments, assist and advise the student body, and create DEI-specific communications for the school's community. Serve as faculty leader for PCD's Students of Color Union.

Teacher of 9th grade world history and elective teacher of Black experiences in the United States. Serve as a 9th-grade advisor. Collaborate with a team of teachers to support student growth. Design curriculum and build cross-curricular projects in all content areas to meet the needs of all learners. Provide encouragement and positive feedback to help learners progress.

To provide a safe, confidential environment for participants to ask questions and receive support and information.Provide technical assistance and support to community organizations to create and /or maintain partnerships, and support partnerships.Assist in programs development, grant reporting and evaluation efforts.Collaborate with other Day One Departments to expand development of community services.Participate in ongoing individual supervision, team meeting, case conferences, trainings.To act as spokesperson for the agency through educational presentations and written reports.To perform all other duties as assigned.

Day One is a statewide non-profit organization offering comprehensive services to those affected by sexual assault, domestic violence, and hate crimes. In recent years, Day One has increased its commitment to fighting the commercial sexual exploitation of children in Rhode Island. As the Training Coordinator, I have created a training program on this topic and offer professional training's throughout Rhode Island. Furthermore, I am the facilitator for Day One's training subcommittee, which includes various professionals representing multiple disciplines.
