• Handling the entire procurement Raw Material (API & Excipients) and Packing material activities for Semi - Regulated Market.• Sourcing Raw material & packing material for new product development with all necessary documentation which compiles the regulatory norms.• Identifying the potential Suppliers Raw materials & packing materials for alternate vendor development & as well as for new products.• Negotiating the rates for existing products by procuring the material through annual contracts. • Keep constantly apprised of economic / a business situation as they affect purchasing policy; makes recommendations to adequately meet those changing conditions.• Ensuring the regular supplies of material to meet the production requirement from PPIC by avoiding the production loss.• Develop and update department procedures and recommend changes to related organizational standard practices.• Analyze current procurement activities and recommend improvement through more efficient procurement methods, quantity discounts, standardization, value analysis and cooperative purchasing.• Ensuring the payments are released in the right time to the suppliers as this will result in the stoppage for material dispatches.• Preparing the yearly budget in order to show the forecasting of the price ranges to the management & making the bulk orders for cost saving.• Interview current suppliers to improve levels of service & vendor relationship.• Preparing statistics to measure commodity and supplier performance for Vendor Evaluation & Rating to do effective sourcing.

• Procuring the Raw Material ( API & Excipients ) and Packing material activities for Regulated Market.• Ensuring the imported materials cleared under Advance License in order to save the duty cost.• Identifying the potential Suppliers for Excipients & packaging material as alternate vendors who can support in all regulated documents.• According to the plan of PPIC placing the order of imported raw material & packing materials.• Negotiating the rates for the domestic purchase & imported materials. • Prepare and develop competitive quotations on materials and services from the approved vendors & suppliers who meet our specification & quality standard, negotiating the price & ensure the release of purchase orders.• Preparing the yearly budget in order to show the forecasting of the price ranges to the management & making the bulk orders for cost saving.• Ensuring the regular supplies of material to meet the production requirement from PPIC by avoiding the production loss.

• Identifying potential manufacturers & suppliers who are capable of meeting company quality standards.• Sourcing & obtaining materials for R & D new product development.• Interview current suppliers to improve levels of service and new suppliers to develop and establish new sources of supply.• Prepare and develop competitive quotations on materials and services from the approved vendors & suppliers who meet our specification & quality standard, negotiating the price & ensure the release of purchase orders.. • Ensure that all purchasing is in compliance with regulations and laws related to purchasing practices.• According to the indent & stock availability, planning of Raw Material & Packaging Material for 2 months prior to production.• Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation on all responses, purchases, contracts, correspondence and related follow up.• Promote the Purchasing section as an effective resource for addressing Supply Management issues.• Expedite outstanding purchase orders to ensure delivery requirements are met.
