I am a result-oriented Communications Manager with extensive experience in developing and implementing communication strategies. I am passionate about effectively communicating an organization's message to its intended audience and building. With a strong background in content creation, creative writing, graphics design, and social media management, I am adept at creating engaging and impactful communication materials.Currently, I am serving as a Communications Manager at United People Global (UPG) in Geneva, where I have successfully contributed to the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote UPG's mission and programs. I have managed UPG's social media accounts, resulting in an increase in engagement, and have collaborated with team members on content creation for publications, press releases, website content, and newsletters. I have also designed fliers and launched campaigns that have engaged over 20,000 people.Prior to UPG, I served as a Communications Officer and Social Media Manager at GLOHWOC in Ilorin, where I developed and implemented an effective communication strategy based on the organization's target audience. I maintained records of media coverage and collated analytics of metrics, established and maintained effective relationships with journalists and research personnel, and coordinated with program staff to develop impactful stories and communication materials.In addition to my experience in communications, I have also been involved in skill acquisition centre management, freelance writing, graphics design, and content creation for small- and large-scale brands. I hold a BSc. Ed. in Agricultural Science from the University of Ilorin and have certifications in virtual assistance, human rights-based approach, writing and capacity building, and fundamentals of digital marketing.My soft skills include creativity, organization, communication, relationship building, and strategic thinking.
