Following the merger between Interior Savings and Gulf & Fraser, I'm excited to lead the Beem Credit Union marketing team as we work to power possibilities for our members. Together with our member experience team, our goal is to help our members achieve whatever matters most to them, while building towards a future where financial wellness can be achieved by all.

Building stronger, more connected and more inclusive communities while helping our members improve their financial health. I have the honour of supporting (more often cheering on) a talented, energetic and forward-thinking Marketing and Community Engagement team. Together, we are working to ensure our members can access the financial information and help they need, when they need it, and in the format they prefer. While at the same time, we are working to build community impact partnerships with non-profits, social enterprises and cooperatives across our region, because we know we're all stronger when we work together.

Develop, implement and report on community investment strategy. Manage Interior Savings' community investment program (sponsorships, bursaries, grants, community programs, donations). Manage media relations and social media. Provide management oversight to the marketing administration function.

Developed and implemented internal communication strategy. Co-lead intranet redesign project with a focus on usability. Produced/published internal communications. Advised senior leadership and department heads on communication planning for various projects and initiatives. Responsible for media relations and coordinating media training. Managed Interior Savings' community investment program (sponsorships, donations, grants, bursaries, employee volunteerism).

Carrying out internal communication strategy: writing/producing employee print newsletter and daily intranet communications; supporting department leads in developing communication plans; developed company email and voicemail protocols; intranet usability.

Coordinating promotional campaigns, community giving, supplier relationships.
