About John Sterling

With over 35 years of experience in sales, software, and investing, I am the owner of Sterling Sales, customized and proven sales training for B2B sales teams in the Southeast.I'm also the owner of Foxfire, a certified Microsoft solution provider that offers warehouse management software to support distribution operations. Additionally, I run Sterling Ventures, Sterling Sales, and CloudHound, where I invest in tech start-ups, coach and advise business owners, and resell cloud-based solutions.Previously, I was the global sales manager and vice president of sales at Datastream Systems, a maintenance software company that I helped grow from a small team of four to over 1000 employees, go public in 1996, and sell for over $200 million in 2006.
