I am a versatile finance professional with wide ranging experience that includes leadership roles in financial management, financial analysis, corporate finance and business strategy. I enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and love to build strong teams and partner with peers across the business to drive performance, effect organisational change and develop practical solutions to strategic challenges. From March 2017 to May 2023, I was the Finance Director at Muddy Boots Software Limited. I played a pivotal role in the acquisition of the business by a division of the Canadian telecoms operator, TELUS Inc. in March 2020 and its subsequent integration with nine other acquired businesses to create TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods. In October 2021, I was promoted to become the finance lead for the global Technology division. In this high profile role, I worked closely with three Vice Presidents to manage 550 software engineers, 150 contractors and the company's software and hosting infrastructure, overseeing an annual expenditure of over US$100m.Prior to TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods, I was Finance Director at Safe Patient Systems, a medical technology company based in Solihull, West Midlands for three years and before that ran my own consultancy business for over ten years. From 1994 to 2003, I held a number of corporate finance and equity research positions in investment banking in London and Moscow. I am a qualified ACMA and hold both a first class honours degree and a Masters' degree from Birmingham University. I am a keen athlete, and have represented Team GB internationally as an Age Group triathlete since 2016.
