Pixalux® Manufacturing are the Australian manufacturer of the Pixalux® structural light panel, an innovative interior lighting product that redefines lighting.The Pixalux® structural light panel is a revolution in lighting, providing a range of superior benefits to traditional Lightboxes, Luminaires, Light Strips and LED Strips.My role within Pixalux® has been broad, to support the launch of Pixalux® into the Australian market and includes: product refinement, manufacturing process development, marketing and brand development. Activities include:Product development to take the Pixalux® structural light panel from a proof of concept into a multi-application product.Sourcing and assessing components and materials to realise product development goals.Refining manufacturing, material requisition and flow processes to support sample orders, mass production and bespoke projects.Developing art-work and leading the production of promotional material, brochures and the website.Preparing and delivering product training material for Pixalux® authorised resellers.Working closely with sales partners as point of contact for technical and commercial queries.

IAESTE is a global traineeship organisation. It was founded in the aftermath of World War II with aim of fostering international understanding and co-operation; to promote a better understanding between countries and cultures in the post war era. IAESTE achieve this goal by providing high performing technical students opportunities with paid, course-related training abroad. Employers get the opportunity to employ highly skilled international trainees for 3-6 months.As President of the Local Committee (LC) of IAESTE Melbourne I was responsible for managing the branch and leading a team of volunteers. I liaised with the national committee and supported Science, Engineering and ITC students through their technical and cultural experience, working with local employers in Melbourne. Activities included:Coordinating logistics to host trainees in Melbourne including accommodation, airport pick-ups and social activities.Leading the marketing and promotion of IAESTE in the local market using digital and traditional techniques.Providing support to students as required to ensure they get the most from their work and social experience in Melbourne.
