My role focuses on identifying and deploying high-impact technologies for tomorrow's workforce, fostering a community of innovators and driving collaborations that propel the state forward. By leveraging the unique capabilities of Nebraska Innovation Studio, we are setting the stage for groundbreaking advancements in robotics that promise to enhance economic outcomes across the region.So far, we've:•• Launched new programs in collaborative robotics, drone operation, robotic welding, and more•• Developed a lab space of more than 30 additive manufacturing and robotic prototyping machines, ranging from SLS and Polyjet technologies to traditional FDM•• Built two (2) robotic bartenders•• Introduced new pathways to upskilling for high-need individuals, dislocated workers, veterans, and Sovereign Nation communities.•• Certified 20+ individuals in robotics integration and programmingBy working strategically and collaborating with an incredible team of partners, it's been thrilling not only elevating the robotics landscape in Nebraska but also establishing a benchmark for robotics education and workforce development nationwide.
