► In this position I am responsible for all aspects of financial and management accounting including the preparation of the annual statutory reports, preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, preparation along with presentation of annual budget and interim variance reports. Other duties include:- Leading, managing and coordinating a team of 8 accounting professionals.- Preparing special purpose and regulatory reports as per internal / external controls.- Manage key projects including integration of reporting and accounting for acquisitions, systems implementation, reporting processes and other areas integral to financial services.- Ensuring adherence to and compliance with accounting and prudential standards.✔ Selected Achievements:• Successfully managed and rolled out an implementation of a new ERP system (SAP ECC6 to MS Dynamics CX 2012 R3) across the business. Played a pivotal role in the initial conception and development of the project through to change management, data transfer, compliance, testing, go-live and post go-live support. • Led a process to document DBPs Business Processes and Procedures. Experience using SIPOC tool from Six Sigma tool suite.• Achieved an overall rating of “Strong” across the 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015 Financial Reporting Controls internal audits by Deloittes. This was further commended after implementing a new ERP. • Achieved cost savings for the business of significant internal audit fees ($20K per audit) by changing audit frequency from annual to bi-annual as a result of streamlining processes along with excellent overall compliance and minimal findings from audit teams. • Consistently achieved reporting requirements under tight timelines of 4-week statutory reporting audit clearance. This has been the result of working closely with auditors at Ernst & Young along with a high-level of pro-activeness.

► Provide direct support to Financial Controller to ensure the timely and accurate production of month-end management accounts for the DBNGP Trust Group and subsidiaries including detailed variance analysis to budget/forecast. Also responsible for the preparation of statutory financial statements for the DBNGP Trust Group and subsidiaries, including assistance in the co-ordination of the audits of these entities.

► Hands on role where I was responsible for providing specialist technical accounting and taxation skills to the business along with managing the operations of the Finance Service Unit. Other duties included the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory and board financial reporting requirements.

► Responsible for providing direct support to the role of Corporate Accountant with respect to the functions of the Finance Department. Engaged in the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual statutory, regulatory and other reporting obligations. Supervised recording and reconciliation of capital expenditure and preparation of monthly board reporting requirements.- Heavily involved in Business Systems Upgrade project (½ million dollar package) including scoping (one year), evaluation of various packages and acted as system champion for testing and implementation period of six months.
