We work with underprivileged high school students to help them develop personal effectiveness, leadership, and social-emotional learning competencies so they can gain admission to university and launch productive careers.

I partnered with dozens of employers to analyze the development needs of recent university graduates. In response, I designed a Leadership Development model for Career Readiness that focused on building key leadership competencies. Understanding the value international students bring to the American education system, I decided to join Shorelight Education's mission to educate the world by recruiting and servicing international students. As a Student Services Advisor, I pursued my personal mission by contributing to the enrichment of the cultural makeup of FIU's student body.

Led weekly goal accountability groups for young professionals. Designed and led personal development and leadership training, seminars, and workshops. Coached 100s of professionals and created accountability systems to help them achieve their goals.

My intercultural experiences is what drew my interest to the study abroad field. As the Study Abroad Coordinator, I pursued my personal mission by sharing with students the promises of living and studying in another culture. My efforts in this role centered on revamping outreach efforts, creating a better user experience online, and managing study abroad programs. Marketing and Student Recruiting•Boosted student participation by 50% in Fall 2014 relative to Fall 2013•Created several student engagement programs•Developed a social media marketing strategyPersuading students to partake in the study abroad experience was a top priority of my role. During my first semester, I co-created a Global Ambassador program to utilize study abroad returnees to market the experience. I grew the program from 6 students in Spring 2013 to 35 in Fall 2014. Under my leadership, the program engaged the student body by rejuvenating the content of our information sessions, creating space on-campus for discussions, and hosting a new intercultural-themed series of International Coffee Hours.I improved our social media marketing through data analysis of Facebook Insights for each campaign.
