Founded in 1999, Elite Development Program (EDP) is one of the largest organizers of youth soccer leagues and tournaments in the U.S. EDP operates youth leagues for boys and girls ages 8-19, conducts a Futures program for players ages 7-10, and operates U20/23 men’s and women’s leagues. EDP also runs over 20 tournaments each year. One of the major priorities of EDP’s leagues and tournaments through its Pathway to College™ programming is to enable youth soccer players to reach their full potential, with an emphasis on attending college. More than 5,000 teams participate in EDP’s leagues and more than 170,000 players compete in EDP tournaments annually.

In this role I was responsible for recording engineers hours, producing job cards and invoicing customers. I also built and maintained the company website.I was also responsible for managing the company parts department when the Parts Manager was absent. In this role I sourced various machinery parts for our engineers and customers as and when required.

In this position I coached children between the ages of 3 and 14 in various environments such as club training, camps and individual sessions.I wrote a 10 week program for 3-5 year old players as well as a separate 10 week technical program for 5-7 year old players. I went on to create a 20 session curriculum for our club players aged 7+ where we began to introduce some tactical elements of the game.

In this role I was coaching male and female players as young as 3 all the way through to amateur adult players in their 30's.I took on a managerial role where I was responsible for staff uniform and equipment, staff housing and vehicle logistics. I later assumed responsibility for booking soccer fields and providing the relevant paperwork and insurance for the townships we were working in. I also took on a sales role within the company where I would be in regular contact with owners and board members looking to build good relationships with new and existing clients.I became coach of U23 side New Jersey Blaze before later taking over as the Head Coach for the full adult side. During my time with this company I further developed my coaching skills and was mentored by highly experienced UEFA A license coaches. I also developed my own organizational skills and helped to manage a staff base of around 30 coaches.

In this role I continued working with male and female players aged 3-18.Alongside coaching I took on a managerial role in the Team Training department where I was responsible for uniform and equipment inventory, curriculum output, staff development and staff evaluations.During this time I refined my time management and team work skills as a part of a busy office environment. I also gained good experience as a mentor to less experienced staff members.

In this position I coached children between the ages of 3 and 18 in various environments such as club training and camps. During this time I gained experience working with male and female players of various ages and abilities. I received weekly staff training to aid my development.

I was involved in managing scientific data during phase I-III clinical trials. I was responsible for the accurate presentation of information and results related to new and existing compounds.During this time I gained invaluable experience working as a part of a team and as an individual as well as good communication skills. Good organisation as well as attention to detail were vital in this role.
