I have developed many intranet applications working at Marshall Space Flight Center as a support contractor. These application projects are listed in the Projects section below. My favorite part of my job is refactoring existing applications to meet new requirements. To that end, I have reduced the code base on numerous applications by over 50%. I am a big fan of accessible and usable websites and web applications.Specialties: ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, XML/XSL, CSS, jQuery, Accessibility (WCAG2 & Section 508), Usability, HTML5/CSS3.I like to keep my skills sharp. In that vein, I solve Project Euler (https://projecteuler.net) problems. My status badge is included below, showing my solved problem count. In addition, I have pursued a number of Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC), including the Artifical Intelligence course originally offered through Stanford University, taught by Sebastian Thrun and Peter Norvig. All postings were modified to meet Section 508 or WCAG 2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) guidelines.ESRI ArcGIS Geographical Information System (GIS) server administration and configuration. This system is used for various environmental, facilities and logistics functions at MSFC. Hazardous Material System - Design, development and maintenance of a configured Maximo system to handle the chemical inventory and hazardous waste management for MSFC, including data migration from previous system, development of interfaces to other applications, user support and issue management. Environmental Portal - Provides environmental hazard, chemical inventory and occupational health information to the MSFC population. Refactored existing code to address security and usability issues and achieved a 75% reduction in lines of code. Multiple REST integrations allow MSFC users to access information from licensed systems without requiring extra licensing.Proactive Procurement - A shared Maximo (HMS) and Environmental Portal application that implements REST integration to leverage the capabilities of both systems and reduce user workload. This was developed to support management of chemical and material inventory to meet OSHA and ADEM requirements. Received 2014 NASA Silver Group Achievement Award for this effort.
