LSF Health Systems (LSFHS) is one of seven Managing Entities who work in partnership with the Florida Department of Children and Families in managing behavioral health care for people facing poverty who do not have health insurance.LSF Health Systems serves a 23-county region in Northeast and North Central Florida, which includes Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lake, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Union and Volusia counties.State-funded behavioral health services help people and families who don’t have insurance gain access to much-needed mental health care services. Through this system-wide approach, people at risk for or diagnosed with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders who do not have the financial resources to seek care are able to find the help they need. Services provided through contracted behavioral health care providers include prevention, intervention, treatment and care coordination to support optimal recovery.

CareSTL Health is an integrated health organization of 250 employees serving over 26,000 patients from 4 locations in the St. Louis area with an operating budget of $21M. Services include primary care, women's health, dental, eye care, pediatrics, podiatry, behavioral health, chiropractic care, pharmacy, laboratory and radiology. As CFO, I was responsible for Accounting / Finance, Revenue Cycle, Purchasing and Facilities. Responsible for grant budgets and reporting that increased grant funding over 2 years by 60%.Established Revenue Cycle operation for the Center including the successful outsourcing of collection management resulting in improved data integrity, operational efficiencies and improved collections of 30%. Implemented business level financial reporting systems for internal performance reporting of 8 revenue centers and 4 locations. Additionally redesigned external reporting for Health & Human Services federal mandated Uniform Data System reporting (UDS), and Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting

The Parsons Blewett Memorial Fund has a two-fold mission: to assist teachers and administrators in the St. Louis Public School system with financial support for educational and professional development and to aid St. Louis Public School District (SLPS) teachers and administrators who face dire financial need due to a health or personal crisis.Serve as Citizen Trustee of Board and Finance Committee member overseeing $50M investment portfolio, budget preparation and approval, annual audit and performance of scholarship programs.

National home security company providing cellular based security systems and monitoring services.Served as CFO and acting CEO to the nation’s largest and fastest growing home security dealer during Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization. Responsibilities included day to day business operations, maximizing portfolio of assets for stakeholders and developing/deploying reorganization plan. Generated positive cash flow within 90 days after reorganization and maintained 40%+ operating margin. Reduced creditor claims by 41% by leading litigation and negotiations. Implemented scalable SAP ERP financials software modules.

Molecular diagnostics research and service company developing cancer diagnostic products and providing research services to international organizations and pharmaceutical companies.Partnered with CEO and Board of Directors to re-position company as a service provider while generating revenue and positive cash flows through business development, a lean operations model and successful customer contract fulfillment. Responsibilities included daily business operations, corporate governance and reporting, planning and forecasting.Raised over $15 million of equity and debt capital. Managed in excess of $50 million of research contracts and secured $9.5 million in federal grants. Reduced tax liability by 31% with innovative tax strategy.

Oversaw administrative and accounting services to retail sales offices, incentive compensation plans, financial reporting and business training of field managers. Achieved 92% annual profit growth by revitalizing under-performing. Expanded fleet from 1,400 to 4,000 vehicles and office locations from 18 to 50.
