As an associate in Corporate Strategy, I have performed competitor benchmarking, industry trend analysis, audited internal and customer-facing experiences, built proposals for applications of machine learning, and engaged in the refactoring of our software development ecosystem.Through these opportunities, I have driven results ranging from the addition of features to the Capital One mobile app to the integration of new tools within Capital One’s software development ecosystem. Beyond the immediate impact of recommendations, I have driven value by defining enterprise roadmaps surrounding the adoption of Generative AI in credit modeling and software development. I have created detailed strategic initiatives aimed at enabling rapid adoption and experimentation with frontier AI models as well as the development of internal models and applications. In conjunction with product leaders, I defined the methods of evaluation for these initiatives to ensure consistent iterative improvement through the establishment of a feedback loop.In addition to this work, I also researched and wrote an allegory featuring the standardization of the American railroad gauge to convey the importance of standardization onto a series of enterprise platforms and tools. This story was related by the CEO to every Capital One employee during what is known as a Strategy session, resulting in several Distinguished Engineers complimenting both my knowledge of trains and the value of the story in motivating adoption of enterprise standards

In my capacity as Academic Chair, I utilized SHPE's resources to provide career and educational opportunities to members in a variety of manners. I organized conversations with graduate school deans, planned events focused on providing academic support and counseling, and connected student membership with recruiters from companies in their areas of interest. By increasing SHPE's commitment to the academic and professional success of our members, the club was able to increase membership by over 10%.
