Financial Reporting Manager, entrepreneur, tax preparer and CPA.Previously I worked for Guest Services Inc. in their hospitality division. I managed the assets for the Everglades National Park Head Quarter restoration project at Flamingo Key Florida. We restored the employee housing and marina at Flamingo Key to restart the operations and bough house boats and a small fleet of other boats, a hundred Glamping tents, 4 50ft Corinthian catamaran tour boats. The final phase is cottages and a restaurant I helped get started.In addition the the Everglades work I also managed Stehekin at Cascade National Parks assets, Wakulla Lodge, Bear Mountain Lodge, Lodge at Breckenridge and many other projects. While not working on park projects for GSI I worked in the Condo Division and Sr. Housing, which manages upscale condo's in Pelican Bay, Bay Colony and Park Shore in Naples Florida. My duties were to financial report, annual audit preparation and management, and installed a large lockbox system that worked with our billing platform to automate our billing and receivable process. Project accounting was a major part as well and I have managed many 1-15 million dollar renovation projects.Prior to my time with Guest Services I was an entrepreneur and owner of a small construction company Harvey Properties. I wanted to relocate from Michigan to Florida and decided to pursue accounting. Before Harvey Properties I worked three tax seasons for a CPA firm. When I relocated to Florida I was lucky to find GSI, who put my construction business and CPA skillset to use. Currently I work for QuestX Software as a Financial Reporting Manager, our specialty is insurance software and roadside assistance. We are developing a software platform that will help revolutionize the company. In addition to the software the roadside assistance call center manages calls for insurance companies as their provider for complementary roadside assistance programs. On your car insurance paperwork there is oftentimes a number to call for roadside assistance, which we help manage. Our clients are from the largest in the insurance industry to the small town provider and we give their insured clients customized roadside assistance. The software allows us to start by reassuring callers that everything will be alright and we have help on the way, then after a few questions we are able to send an insurance claim to their provider for their complementary roadside assistance.
